It’s all about coffee. But not everyone can afford to spend $7 at a cafe each time they need one. So we came up with a way to save you some coin and give you the convenience of carrying around refills of delicious, healthy coffee at a fraction of the cost.

Hype Coffee’s signature blend – Sequoia – is hand-packed here in Auckland. We use dark roast Brazilian coffee grinds that’s spiced with organic turmeric, red chili, cinnamon and cardamom. Not only are these ingredients anti-inflammatory, immunogenic and rich in antioxidants but each cup of Hype Coffee tastes like a snowy Christmas. Simply chuck a bag in a cup of water, let it steep for a few minutes and drink like a legend.

Do you have a physical store?
Nope, we’re strictly online only. We do supply coffee shops, but all orders are made online.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We aim to post one working day after payment is received but since we hand-pack each bag ourselves, it depends on volume. Rest assured, we’ll get orders out ASAP.
Do you have other flavors?
We’re working on some more. Once they pass the taste tests and vibe checks, we’ll have them available for order. Keep an eye out!
What’s the best way to brew Sequoia?
We find it best as a black coffee because the spices don’t mix well with milk. Drop a bag into a hot water (about a tulip-sized cup) and let it steep for a few minutes. Best to leave the bag in as you drink for optimal flavours!
What ingredients do you use?
Sequoia uses a premium Brazilian fair trade and ethically sourced coffee. All the spices are 100% organic and each bag contains coffee, turmeric, cinnamon and red chili. There are no preservatives and no additives – what you’re drinking is as pure as it gets.
